What is Nutritious Life Meals all about?
Nutritious Life Meals are made with 2 things: 1)Love, and 2)the freshest available ingredients, local and/or organic when possible. Each morning you will open your door and find a ‘Keri-approved’ and ‘gourmet chef-prepared’ delivery of two snacks and three scrumptious meals. Nutritious Life Meals provides you with proportioned, portioned, fresh, real food for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks at an affordable price. Just think of Keri sending you home cooked nutrition every day!
How does the Nutritious Life Meals system work?
Each morning you will open your door and find a delivery of two snacks and three scrumptious meals. Nutritious Life Meals provides you with proportioned, portioned, fresh, real food for every breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks at an affordable price.
When will I receive my food?
We deliver anywhere from 7pm to 5am. Your food will be packed in an insulated cooler with ice packs and placed by your front door unless instructed otherwise.

How do I stop delivery for a particular day?
You have two options:
1. Log in to your online account 72 hours prior to the desired date, navigate to the "schedule" page, and click on the date of which you want to stop delivery. In the summary tab you can turn off the delivery for the specific date. 2. You can also call us 72 hours prior to the desired date and we will gladly make the changes for you.
Can I do the program 5 days a week?
Yes! All of our programs allow you to use your days as you choose. You can receive your meals however many days a week you like.
How many calories am I consuming per day?
Nutritious Life Meals is structured around the concept of “Thinking in Thirds”: carbohydrates, protein and fat (with a little more carbohydrates!) and is a balanced way of eating not solely based on calories. If you are eating only your Nutritious Life Meals, it is proven you will lose weight. You are consuming about 1200-1400 calories per day if you are a woman and 1600-1800 calories if you are a man.
How do I reheat my food?
Your meals are conveniently packed in microwave-safe containers. Please place the containers with the lids slightly open in the microwave for about 45 seconds (depending on your microwave). If you would rather eat on a real plate instead of a plastic container (like Keri!), then feel free to plate your food before heating.
How do I continue getting meals without any interruptions?
You can either rollover your program online or contact us and we will gladly do it for you.
What do I do with my empty bag?
Leave it outside your door and your driver will pick it up when he drops off your new one. Easy breezy!
Can I purchase extra cooler bags?
Yes. We sell our Nutritious Life Meals cooler bag for $15. Please contact a Nutritious Life Meals Team Member to purchase 1 or more bags. They are great for the park and/or the beach and also make a great gift.
What can I do to maximize the program's effectiveness?
In addition to eating only your Nutritious Life Meals, we recommend drinking 8 cups of water per day, 2 cups of green tea and NO soda (diet or regular.) We also suggest eating these meals and snacks consistently through the day. Begin by eating breakfast within 90 minutes of rising. If you find yourself hungry, supplement the meals with fresh or frozen, raw or steamed veggies. Eating is just one pillar of a Nutritious Life. In order to maximize your weight loss and health, we also suggest that you live an active lifestyle, incorporate exercise consistently, sleep 7 to 8 hours per night and manage your stress. What makes Nutritious Life Meals more effective than all other diets?
While it would be nice for all of us to shop, cook, prep, sit and dine each day and night, that is simply not feasible for many of us. This causes many of us to make poor choices. What if I don’t need to lose weight?
People choose to eat Nutritious Life Meals for many reasons, which include weight maintenance and overall health. The benefits of Nutritious Life Meals go beyond weight loss; they will improve your energy and boost your immunity. They will also take the stress out of meal planning and provide you an opportunity to relax, knowing you are fueling your body with balanced, whole food nutrition. Even if you do not need to lose weight, you can enjoy all the benefits of Nutritious Life Meals just like any of our other clients. Enjoy increased energy, mental clarity and focus, improved immunity and a general big boost to your overall health.
How long before I can expect results?
Many Nutritious Life Meals clients have reported feeling more energetic and having less food cravings within the first five days of the program. Some have lost up to 4 pounds in the first week. You will first lose water weight, then begin to lose fat. When your clothes begin to fit more loosely in the second week of the plan you will know you're on the right track! Of course results will vary but the best results will come from sticking with the meals over several weeks.
Do you have a referral program?
Yes we do! Nutritious Life Meals offers you one free day for referring friends, coworkers, acquaintances, and family for the 31-day full priced program. To guarantee that your personal account will receive the proper credit for these referrals, your referral must mention your name to us before their program begins. What if I have high cholesterol?
Nutritious Life Meals are both adequate and appropriate for people with high cholesterol. Meals are created using high fiber carbohydrates, healthy fats and lean protein. The meals meet all standards for fiber, saturated fat and trans fat, and the distribution of calories is balanced to meet the needs of those looking to manage their high cholesterol. If you have specific questions about the best menu selections to manage your medical needs, please contact a Nutritious Life Team member.

Can Nutritious Life Meals help diabetes?
Nutritious Life Meals is an excellent solution for people who suffer from Type II diabetes. Nutritious Life Meals are proportioned with carbohydrates, fat and protein in amounts that are appropriate for people managing Type II diabetes. Eating these meals consistently through the day will further promote stable blood sugar levels. We encourage you to consult with your doctor to confirm this program is suitable for you.
What if I am on medication?
Consult with your doctor before making any drastic changes to your diet. We recommend that you never make any changes to your diet or medication without speaking to your doctor beforehand.
What if I am pregnant or nursing?
Doctors usually recommend that nursing mothers and pregnant women maintain a well balanced diet and that they eat approximately 300 calories more when pregnant from nutrient dense foods. Nutritious Life Meals may be a supportive tool in meeting both weight and nutrition recommendations. Consult your doctor and a Nutritious Life Team Member before you begin.
Can I drink alcohol?
This is your diet decision. Although alcohol in moderation has some health benefits, alcohol equals extra calories and can derail your weight loss efforts. Also, many people end up over consuming food when alcohol is involved. We recommend steering clear of all alcohol for the first two weeks to a month. If this is too restrictive for you, cut back! Take a look at how many nights a week you drink, cut that in half, then cut in half the number of drinks per night you normally consume. Also, remember to match each glass of alcohol with water or seltzer.
What attitude should I have towards food?
Eat Empowered! This is how we think about food at Nutritious Life!
It’s not “I can’t have the chocolate cake,” it is, “I can have the blueberries.” When you learn to focus on what you can eat, not what you can’t eat, you will feel empowered, in control and more motivated to eat healthy. You will lose weight, have more energy, feel good and thus, continue to feel motivated to Eat Empowered!
Should I eat three meals and two snacks even if I am not hungry?
Yes, most of the time. If you skip a snack or meal you will likely end up slowing your metabolism and being ravenous later on which will cause you to over consume. We encourage you to eat all of your meals. If you truly feel no hunger (your Hunger Quotient is about a 3 or 4 on a scale of 1 to 10) you can always try skipping a snack for one day and see what your body tells you later on.
Should I eat before working out?
We recommend that you eat about an hour before exercise. Give your body time to digest your meal or snack, but balance your meal timing with the intensity of your exercise so that you are not interrupted with hunger. If you are training for something specific or more than a moderate exerciser, please consult our Nutritious Life Meals Team to help you best meet your needs.
Isn’t having 30% fat in my diet too much?
NO! You need fat. You need to eat healthy fats to burn body fat and to be your most nutritious self! Fat is important! It is used in our bodies to insulate our organs and carry fat soluble vitamins, and it is a critical component of hormones. It is also essential for satiety, the word for satisfaction. If you don’t eat fat you will not be satisfied and go scouring for who knows what later in the day. Nutritious Life Meals provides you with the right amount of healthy fat in each meal. A fat-free diet is not the solution to weight loss and fat-free products tend to have high amounts of sugar.
Is it okay to eat rice, bagels, or pasta?
Of course it is! Nutritious Life Meals does not believe in deprivation so we do not exclude any type of food from your program. We do recommend choosing most of your carbohydrates from foods such as fruits, vegetables, and yogurt. Carbohydrates from pasta, rice, and bagels have more sugar in them than fruits and vegetables so when choosing grain based foods try to eat only small portions.
What can I drink?
Water! Agua! H2O! Nutritious Life Meals believes water is the very best choice for hydration and quenching your thirst. We also love herbal tea and green tea. Staying hydrated is crucial so you don’t mistake thirst for hunger, to keep your metabolism running at its peak, to maintain healthy skin, and to keep all body processes working most efficiently. You need your water!
Will I gain weight back once I complete the program?
Nutritious Life Meals recognizes that the majority of yo-yo diets on the market cause people to gain even more than they lost once they stop dieting. Nutritious Life Meals is a complete lifestyle program that can help you retrain the way you eat and transform the way you look at food. Food will become your friend instead of your enemy. And never a frenemy. We encourage you to notice the meal portions and food groups that are delivered each day. Nutritious Life Meals is a tool to help educate you how and what to eat once you are off the plan. Even if you do not follow Nutritious Life Meals forever, our philosophy can be a foundation to keep you nutritious for life!
What if I am going out of town & want the delivery to a different address?
Please call us for all address changes. If we deliver to the area you are traveling to we can deliver to you while you are on the road.
I am on the Keri's Choice but I did not choose my meals for the day, will I still get a delivery?
Yes, our chefs will choose each meal for you based on your food profile if you haven't chosen your meals within 72 hours of your scheduled day. You can turn off any day yourself via your meal selection calendar.
